Marcos Zegers es un fotógrafo chileno cuyo trabajo se sitúa entre el arte y la fotografía documental. Su práctica se nutre de su formación como arquitecto para explorar la relación entre el ser humano, el territorio y el paisaje construido.
Desde sus inicios, su fotografía se ha enfocado en los modos de vida rurales, los asentamientos humanos y las transformaciones territoriales en América Latina, abordando estos paisajes desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria y multiescalar.
Marcos Zegers is a Chilean photographer whose work moves between art and documentary photography. Drawing from his background as an architect, his practice explores the relationship between human presence, territory and the built landscape.
From the beginning, his photography has focused on rural ways of life, human settlements and territorial transformations across Latin America, approaching these landscapes from an interdisciplinary and multi-scalar perspective.
